**Job Overview**:
As a **Game Digital Marketer**, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns for our games. This includes strategizing and managing game marketing throughout its lifecycle—from pre-launch anticipation to post-launch engagement—while also creating visually appealing and engaging content. You should be able to think creatively, develop marketing strategies, and execute them by producing top-tier graphics, video content, and social media assets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Pre-Launch Marketing**:_
- Develop and implement teaser campaigns that include original content such as trailers, developer diaries, and sneak peeks.
- Create and manage content for alpha and beta test phases, ensuring players and influencers are engaged.
- Design social media posts, promotional banners, and website content that build anticipation ahead of game releases.
- Create graphic and video content to be shared across digital platforms that effectively showcase early gameplay and features.
- **Launch Marketing**:_
- Lead and execute the creation of high-quality content to support game launches, including promotional videos, animated ads, in-game footage, and digital assets for distribution platforms (Steam, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox).
- Design eye-catching graphics, banners, and trailers for use in marketing campaigns on various social media platforms, game forums, and paid advertisements.
- Ensure seamless coordination of launch activities with the game development team and platforms for maximum visibility on release day.
- Develop launch-day content such as live streams, interactive content, countdowns, and real-time player engagement.
- **Post-Launch Marketing**:_
- Continually create and distribute fresh content (DLC trailers, in-game event announcements, gameplay showcases) to keep players engaged.
- Design newsletters, social media posts, and other materials that highlight updates, patches, and special game events.
- Create and execute retention campaigns through visual and written content designed to maintain the player base.
- **General Game Marketing Duties**:_
- Manage the full marketing cycle with a focus on both strategy and execution, ensuring that campaigns align with game release phases.
- Develop visually appealing content and assets, including videos, graphics, trailers, social media posts, blog articles, and newsletters.
- Work directly with influencers, streamers, and YouTubers, collaborating to create co-branded content (such as gameplay videos or live streams).
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjust strategies accordingly, and produce content designed to boost engagement and conversions.
- Lead the creative process for all digital assets from brainstorming ideas to final production, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and message.
**Technical Skills and Requirements**:
- Proven experience in **game marketing** with a hands-on approach to creating and executing content.
- Expertise in graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Ability to create visually engaging promotional materials such as trailers, gameplay videos, static and animated banners, and social media assets.
- Experience in content creation across multiple platforms: Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, and paid social media advertising, paired with the technical ability to create supporting graphics and videos.
- Understanding of game development and release phases, and the ability to align marketing strategies and content accordingly.
- Strong storytelling skills and a deep understanding of the gaming audience to create compelling visual and written content.
- Experience working with analytic tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to optimize campaigns.
- Excellent project management skills to handle multiple game marketing timelines and deliverables.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Prior experience working on successful game launches with hands-on content creation.
- Experience with game platforms like Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, and Xbox stores.
- Knowledge of app store optimization (ASO) for mobile games and app marketing.
- Basic animation or motion graphics skills are a plus (for creating engaging video content).
