Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As an Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting the overall financial operations of our property.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage all daily cash and cheque collection from cashiers and bill collectors, adhering to hotel policies and formally reconciling collected amounts with system reports.
  • Perform daily foreign currency exchange with the officially appointed money changer and check and reconcile all foreign exchange submission and calculation from Front Office and POS.
  • Prepare and perform banking of all daily cash and cheques collected without delay.
  • Prepare the General Cashier Report daily, formally reconciling daily collection/banking.
  • Maintain all in-house funds at operational level by timely reimbursing cashier's paid-outs and proceed randomly to float count, formalized in report.
  • Monitor the daily hotel foreign exchange rates and update all rates as per hotel policy.
  • Balance petty cash disbursements against petty cash float and ensure timely reimbursement so that all petty cash needs are catered for, in the strict respect of hotel policies.
  • E nsure the safeguard of all cheques and cash received in your custody.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and communication.
  • Monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
