Job Description:
**Job Title**: Mobile Crane Operator
**Reports to**: Site Supervisor / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- **Crane Operation**:

- Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position materials according to project requirements.
- Ensure safe operation and proper handling of the crane to prevent accidents and damage.
- Follow signals and instructions from ground personnel to maneuver the crane.
- Adjust crane settings to match load weight, type, and height.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines, regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Perform regular pre-operation inspections and maintenance checks of the crane and other equipment.
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure that the crane is safely positioned and that load paths are clear.
- Maintain a safe work environment by coordinating with other site workers.
- **Load Handling**:

- Plan and calculate load weights and capacities for lifts.
- Secure loads properly using slings, shackles, and other rigging equipment.
- Monitor conditions such as wind speed and weather that could affect crane operation.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate logs of crane activities, including lift records and maintenance reports.
- Complete safety checklists and submit reports on time.
- **Communication**:

- Coordinate with riggers, supervisors, and other team members on the job site.
- Use hand signals, radios, or other forms of communication to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in site meetings and briefings as required.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Perform minor repairs and assist with servicing cranes when necessary.
- Keep the crane clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a mobile crane operator.
- **Certification**: Certification from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) or equivalent.
- **Licenses**: Valid driver’s license and crane operator's license, as required by state/provincial law.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of crane operations and load charts.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating the crane.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

Work Environment:

- Construction sites, industrial facilities, and other outdoor work environments.
- Noise and hazardous conditions are common, so safety gear (e.g., hard hats, gloves, safety glasses) is mandatory.

Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
