**Job Title**: Civil Technician

**Location**: Doha, Qatar

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist Civil Engineers and Project Managers in the execution of civil engineering projects.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor daily site activities, progress, and resource utilization.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Verify the quality and quantity of construction materials received on site.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies on site.
- Identify potential issues or discrepancies on site and report them proactively.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and laborers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist in conducting quality control checks and tests on construction elements.
- Maintain accurate site records, logs, and documentation.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Diploma in Civil Engineering** or a related technical field.
- **Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience** as a Civil Technician specifically within the **GCC region** (e.g., Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman).
- **Must be currently residing in Doha, Qatar.**:

- **Valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) is mandatory.**:

- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Qatar is a plus.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel). Basic CAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety on construction sites.
