About the role:
Responsible to formulate and implement resource planning strategy, lead the resource planning team to ensure that operational resources meet company’s manpower demand and are utilized efficiently. Responsible to establish and develop manpower and resource planning policies and procedures in compliance with Company’s guidelines and regulations. Will take vital part in resource planning optimization and automation projects by close collaboration with internal stakeholders. Will drive team work and maintain effective and productive environment within department in order to meet organization objectives in regards of resource planning.
- Attend day to day rescheduling to cover unplanned changes in staff availability including sick leave, personal leave, annual leave, emergency replacement or backfilling requirements.
- Ensure rosters are regularly reviewed to meet key service indicators and operational requirements as well as are following company policies and are in line with Qatari labor law.
- Participate actively in problem solving and finding solutions for scheduling difficulties and challenges in consultation with the management.
- Prepare long and short term projections of manpower and operational resource requirements.
- Analyze generated reports, and identify project resource allocation operationally and as forecasted for utilization.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of Rostering/ Resource Planning experience ideally within Airlines/ Ground Handling Agents.
- Ability to work under pressure to defined tight timescales and budget.
- Solution-oriented and effective communicator with stakeholders.
- Excellent command of English language (verbal and written), good analytical and decision-making skills as well as focus on SAFETY practices and procedures.
- Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills.
