**About the role**:
Provide operation & maintenance support for the Medium Voltage System to ensure reliable and safe operations. Monitor and supervise the performance of Medium Voltage equipment and contractor staff adhering to standard requirements and operational needs in compliance to Electrical system safety rules.

**Key responsibilities**
- Plan, organize, and provide engineering support for the operation, maintenance, modification, troubleshooting and repair of all Medium Voltage (MV)systems to ensure smooth operations and optimum equipment availability.
- Study the shift activities & complaints regarding the system failures and update Manager Electrical substations, to take appropriate actions required to complete the tasks and normalize the system.
- Analyse the system events and system status to conduct through briefing/Toolbox talk to electrical staff/contractor to ensure reliable operation of all electrical systems (MV and LV) with adherence to the standard practices of quality and safety.
- Prepare and manage implementation of special reports, presentation, technical specification, quotation/tender document and other relevant document in order to achieve compliance to business processes.
- Backup events, data, source code, and all other supporting files of Medium and Low voltage Systems according to the defined strategy to meet standard recovery management plan.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Manager Electrical Substations.

Qualifications

**About you**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in an electrical engineering role, preferably on the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) side of an electrical maintenance/project/utility company or a manufacturing company.
- Best maintenance practices on 66Kv (and above) power transformers and distribution transformers.
- Testing and commissioning of MV/LV switchgear including numerical protection relays.
- Relevant experience in a modern SCADA/BMS system used at airport, oil field or process industry.
