This role is essential in ensuring that all **temperature-sensitive cargo** is handled and maintained under **optimal conditions** to preserve product integrity and meet international standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of **refrigerated containers (reefer units)** and **cold storage systems**.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure that all refrigeration equipment operates within manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections (PTI) and ensure compliance with operational protocols.
- Collaborate with terminal operations, cargo handling, and logistics teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records for all equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service calls.
- Ensure adherence to all **health, safety, and environmental (HSE)** regulations within the terminal.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum **5 years of experience** as a **Reefer Technician** or **Cold Storage Technician** in a **Container Terminal or Cargo Terminal** environment.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing **refrigeration and electrical systems** (carrier, thermoking, Daikin, etc.).
- Strong understanding of **port equipment operations** and maintenance best practices.
- Technical certification or diploma in **Refrigeration, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering** (preferred).
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced port or logistics environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and shift rotations.
