As a Restaurant Team Leader, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests. You will be responsible for overseeing the dining area, coordinate and lead the service team, and ensure the smooth flow of service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, greeting them promptly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring clarity on menu selections, modifications, and special requests.
- Oversee the delivery of food and beverages to tables, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to service standards.
- Monitor the progress of each table's meal, providing additional support or assistance as needed.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by regularly checking in with tables, addressing any issues, and taking appropriate action to resolve problems.
- Assist service staff in handling difficult or dissatisfied guests, employing conflict resolution techniques to find satisfactory resolutions.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any specials or promotions.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and the dining area.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set up for service.
- Handle guest payments accurately and securely, following the restaurant's cash handling procedures.
- Prepare accurate bills and process transactions using the POS system.
- Assist with daily cash reconciliation and reporting procedures as required.
- Actively promote and up-sell menu items, beverages, and desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a captain waiter or senior waiter in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries, complaints and conflicts professionally.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in verbal and written English.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Possess valid food handler's certificate.

- Diploma (required)

**Experience**:

- Restaurant team leader (preferred)

**Language**:
