Solar Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of solar technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Ensure the efficient operation of solar systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular inspections of installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee the installation of solar panels, inverters, electrical components, and related systems according to engineering designs and specifications.
- Ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to solar technicians.
- Monitor and control inventory levels of materials and equipment and coordinate with the procurement team.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of system installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other teams to ensure the timely completion of solar projects.
- Perform on-site assessments and ensure that system performance aligns with client expectations.
- Train, mentor, and guide junior technicians in best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure all solar systems meet energy efficiency standards and best practices.

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**:

- Certificate or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Solar Supervisor or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of solar systems.
- GCC experience preferred.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting solar systems and components.
- Strong knowledge of solar panel systems, inverters, and electrical systems.
- In-depth understanding of local regulations, codes, and safety standards in the solar energy industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
- Must hold a valid QID and NOC for employment in Qatar.
