**Civil Engineer**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management**: Lead and manage building construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- **Site Supervision**: Oversee all on-site construction activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure work adheres to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- **Structural Design Review**: Review and evaluate structural drawings and designs, ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and engineering principles.
- **Quality Control**: Implement and monitor quality control standards for materials and construction techniques to maintain project integrity.
- **Resource Management**: Efficiently manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**: Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and local authorities to resolve any project-related issues.
- **Risk Management**: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to minimize project delays and ensure safety on site.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain accurate project documentation and produce regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- **Certification**: Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred; PMP or relevant project management certifications are preferred.
- **Experience**: 10-12 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on building construction.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft office, and preferably Primavera P6).
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
