**Senior**:Minimum 7 years of regional/international experience in the design of Dry Utilities (Electrical). We are looking for a team player with strong

**Experience**: Minimum 15 years of regional / international experience in design of Dry Utilities (Electrical).

We are looking for a team player with strong inter-personal, communication and excellent report writing skills.

Familiarity with CAD (Civil 3D) and other PC software packages typically associated with Dry services engineering is also required.

**Educational Qualifications**

BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

**Professional Certifications**

UPDA must be Grade A

PMP is additional credit, if any.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- The Engineer should have extensive experience in Prepare Concept master plan stage to Detailed Master Plan in terms of utility corridor space proofing, ROW, coordination with wet, roads, transportation, landscape and building teams Develop/Review of Dry utilities Master plan report, derive demand load calculations, tie in point requirements,
- Strong infrastructure engineering background with previous experience on infrastructure projects
- Thorough experience in detailed design of substations, feeder pillars, MV & HV network design (11kV ,33kV and above), LV networks, calculations. Knowledge of latest software like Civil 3D, ETAP etc. is preferred.
- Design of Street Lighting for all type of roads, ROW, Lighting Calculations in Dialux, SLDs, Load schedules, landscape lighting branch wiring etc.
- Using leadership skills to build and nurture relationships and also creating effective working environments.
- Manage the electrical engineers and CAD technicians in the project(s), effective reporting to line manager/team leader on daily basis in coordination with project manager and other all relevant disciplines as required.
- Strong knowledge and focus towards to Quality of design, review and take ownership of the deliverables produced and ensure the design safety is followed in all projects including identifying risks, mitigation and design assumptions registers update.
- Preparation of technical specifications and design reports. Shall be conversant with the international codes as well as Local Codes and Utility Company regulations in GCC for the design of infrastructure related systems.
- Shall have experience of liaising with service providers agencies for obtaining NOCs and Design Approvals, etc.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Leads, manages and coordinates the activities of all electrical engineering staff, and coordinates with the Infrastructure Design Manager
- Serves as primary interface with the design consultants and construction contractor in performing design reviews or addressing construction-related issues related to the electrical systems.
- Maintains awareness of the project electrical specifications, drawings and design criteria

Provides regular reports on progress to the Infrastructure Design Manager.
- Flexible to work extra hours including at odd time night / weekends / holidays etc. to finalize the tasks.

**Salary**: From QAR10,000.00 per month
