Junior Project Engineer (ELV Systems)

**General Trading & Information Technology**, a leading **ICT and ELV Systems Integrator** with over six years of successful operations in Qatar, is seeking to hire a **Junior Project Engineer (ELV Systems)** to join its technical team in Doha.

This position is ideal for an **engineer with 2-4 years of experience** in the ELV or ICT field looking to grow into a full project management role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support senior engineers in **planning, coordinating, and supervising** ELV system implementation on site.
- Review **drawings, BOQs, and submittals**, ensuring compliance with project specifications and approved standards.
- Coordinate with **consultants, main contractors, and suppliers** for inspections, approvals, and material deliveries.
- Monitor site progress, prepare **daily and weekly reports**, and highlight technical or scheduling issues.
- Assist in preparing **method statements, material submittals, test reports, and handover documents**.
- Verify design implementation for the following ELV systems:

- **Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber Optic)** - layouts and labeling per **TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, and BICSI** standards.
- **IT Network Infrastructure** - racks, patch panels, switches, and cabling topology.
- **Wi-Fi Systems** - access point deployment and coverage validation.
- **Access Control, Intercom & Gate Barrier Systems** - coordination of device locations and integration interfaces.
- **CCTV & ANPR Systems** - camera layouts, connectivity checks, and compliance with **MoI-SSD** requirements.
- **SMATV / IPTV Systems** - signal distribution layouts and headend verification.
- **Public Address & Voice Evacuation Systems** - zone allocation and cabling verification.
- **UPS Systems** - load verification and power distribution review.
- Conduct **site inspections, snag identification, and rectification follow-up** with subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate **as-built documentation** and ensure adherence to internal QA/QC procedures.
- Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance at all times.
