Laundry Attendant

**Job Brief**:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable **Laundry Attendant** to join our housekeeping team. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing guests with high-quality laundry services, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met. You will be expected to handle hotel linens, guest clothing, and uniforms efficiently while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry items.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, steamers, irons, and other laundry equipment safely.
- Check and treat stains or damage on fabrics before laundering.
- Ensure that all laundered items are cleaned to hotel quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Report any mechanical faults in laundry equipment to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle guest laundry with care and return it within the expected timeline.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of linens, uniforms, and laundry supplies.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with linen delivery and collection from various hotel departments.
- Cooperate with other housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
**Job Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role (hotel experience is mandatory).
- Knowledge of laundry chemicals and fabric care.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and stand for long periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of English.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
