**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assess nutritional needs of patients based on medical history, lab results, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients.
- Provide dietary counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate staff and the public on nutrition, health, and wellness topics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and consultations.
- Stay current with nutritional science, food safety guidelines, and health trends.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN), as required by state regulations.
- Minimum [5] years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (if applicable).
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and diet therapy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and educate patients effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and nutrition software.
