- Suggest menu items, offers, and add-ons to increase sales (upselling).
- Confirm all orders are entered correctly into the POS system and sent to the kitchen.
- Repeat orders to customers for accuracy before finalizing.
- Handle dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders according to restaurant procedures.
- Ensure proper communication with the kitchen team to avoid mistakes or delays.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for all transactions (cash, card, and online payments).
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of all sales including online platforms.
- Ensure correct change is given and receipts are handed to customers.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Reconcile daily sales and prepare cash handover reports.
- Track order status and communicate any delays to customers politely.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for preparation updates.
- Notify the supervisor of any customer complaints or special requests.
- Ensure delivery orders are properly labeled, packed, and handed to drivers accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier and order counter.
- Always represent Home Slice Pizza professionally and courteously.
- Handle customer complaints calmly and escalate issues to the restaurant in-charge if needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and promotions.
- Ensure all takeaway and delivery items meet restaurant presentation standards
- Count and reconcile cash, credit, and delivery receipts at shift end.
- Record total sales and hand over cash to the designated person.
- Clean and sanitize the counter, POS area, and customer zone.
