**CAMP NURSE JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Summary**:
Camp Connect nurses are responsible for the care and supervision of all medical services. This care includes looking after ill or injured staff who reside in the camp, administering medication, communication with organization management team and other concerns, medications and first-aid kits, as well as keeping records of staff’s visits.

**Reporting To: Human Resources Manager**

**Requirements**:

- Licensed as a registered nurse at QPHC.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years’ experience in business organization as camp nurse working with laborer.
- College/University qualifications.
- Ability to maintain health forms and paperwork.
- Ability to maintain and administer all medications.
- Ability to make decisions and take initiative under pressure.
- Ability to counsel ill/injured staff.
- Good communication and reporting skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in organizing and setting up the Camp Connect Health Clinic.
- Making sure inventory of First-Aid kits is supplied and maintained.
- Doing and maintaining staff’s health screening forms.
- Keep a daily log of staff clinic visits.
- Preparing illness/injured monthly reports.
- Review medical report and prescription of staff and provide staff’s health status to management.
- Assist in providing staff orientation about the health awareness program.
- Illness and injury management.
- Communication with organization’s management and other concern of staff illness or injury.
- Be a medical resource that would bridge the gap between basic medical knowledge and emergencies.
- Providing First Aid for:
Ø cuts, scrapes and bruises.

Ø Bee stings/insect bites.

Ø Dehydration and sunburn.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
