Assistance Maintenance Planner

Doha, Qatar

Maintenance planning work will be mostly office based (KAHRAMAA building / premises). Inspection of assets and site visits has to be done at respective Electricity Distribution substation as and when required. The scope covers all Electricity distribution Substations located within the state of Qatar and/or under the jurisdiction of KAHRAMAA. The _Assistant Maintenance Planner _deputed on a daily basis by the contractor at EDP (Maintenance Planning & Condition Monitoring) Section in the KAHRAMAA’s Electricity Distribution Department shall carry out all assigned works related to Maintenance Planning. The duties to be performed by the _Assistant Maintenance Planner (AMP) _shall include but not limited to the following:
**Responsibilities**

a. Become familiar with the Electricity Distribution Network to assess the maintenance requirements for each asset.

b. Become familiar with the Electricity Distribution Network to assess the maintenance requirements for each asset.

d. Update the Maintenance Plan on daily/weekly basis and track the progress and variance of actual work vis-à-vis planned work.

e. Keep a record of all resources required for Maintenance Planning work such as availability of Manpower, Material, Temporary power source etc...

f. Co-ordinate with various sections / units for all works related to Maintenance planning.

g. Verify Inspection reports from various sources to assess and prioritize the work requirement.

h. Keep a record of work prioritization for the maintenance plan.

i. Input records related to Maintenance Plan in the Substations Database and JDEdwards ERP suite (JDE).

j. Access the available records on daily basis and check for any alternations in the electricity distribution network and update the same in Database and JDEdwards ERP suite.

k. Co-ordinate with DCC (Distribution Control Centre) and GIS Section to verify the alterations in the electricity distribution network and update the same in Database and JDE.

l. Study Substation and OHL SLD & drawings

m. Assist in yearly forecasting the Material requirement for Maintenance works.

n. Keeping a record of Material consumption during maintenance works as per the feedback/report from Maintenance Section and then assess the variance vis-à-vis Material Forecast. Report major deviation to Maintenance Planning Engineers

o. To conduct site visits along with KM team to assess the maintenance work requirement and exploring the viability of implementing a suitable maintenance plan.

p. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports as per KAHRAMAA formats and directions

q. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual presentations in MS PowerPoint.

r. For work at site along with KM team
- All works at site shall be in strict compliance with KAHRAMAA Safety rules, KAHRAMAA Code of Practice, System Operation Memorandum and other applicable rules / guidelines and circulars.
- Shall possess necessary competency and authorization certificate from KAHRAMAA to access and work at substations / sites.
- Shall obtain necessary safety documents for work at site.

s. For Office work: Shall comply with all KAHRAMAA rules, regulations and maintain a proper decorum at Office and perform other related duties as advised by KAHRAMAA Engineers.

**Qualification and pre requisite**
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of Hands-on work experience with various type of Medium Voltage (up to 33kV) and Low Voltage (415V) Electrical equipment (Indoor Switchgear, RMUs, Transformers, OHL and Cables) preferably in Electrical utility. Experience in Maintenance, Maintenance Planning, Erection, Testing, Commissioning of MV & LV Electrical equipment is preferred.
- Good IT knowledge
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of written and spoken Arabic will be an advantage.
- Valid Qatar Driving License will be an advantage
