Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conceptualize and create high-quality visual assets, including but not limited to infographics, illustrations, social media graphics, website elements, reports, presentations, and marketing materials.

2. Collaborate closely with government stakeholders to understand their communication needs and translate them into engaging visual designs that resonate with the target audience.

3. Develop and maintain visual brand guidelines for the Qatar government project, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards across all design materials.

4. Lead the design process from concept to execution, including ideation, sketching, prototyping, and final production, while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

5. Provide creative direction and guidance to junior designers and freelancers, ensuring the quality and consistency of design deliverables.

6. Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in government communication to continuously improve design strategies and techniques.

7. Collaborate with content creators, copywriters, photographers, and videographers to integrate visual elements seamlessly into multimedia content.

8. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for enhancing the project's visual identity and storytelling capabilities.

9. Review and critique design work to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project objectives and stakeholder feedback.

10. Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects, including version control, asset management, and project archives.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on government or public sector projects preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects across various mediums and platforms.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and composition principles.
- Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics.
- Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to non-design stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Arabic typography and design principles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and coach junior designers.
