Your Opportunity

Stantec’s Management Consulting Group in the Middle East is looking for an a result oriented and dynamic Procurement Strategy Specialist to work closely with our client in a transformation journey for their Operation and Maintenance Departments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- \tSupport and advise the client Management in administering a Roads O&M Performance-Based contract including setting the program of works, mobilization of new contract, transition support, participating in procurement, technical, pre and post Contract discussions.
- \tIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- \tInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing management and clients reports.
- \tDevelop and draft progress reports, collect data from sources, review the data, and optimize efficiency and quality.
- \tAcquire information and supporting data from primary or secondary data sources.
- \tFilter and clean data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
- \tWork with management to prioritize business information needs.
- \tProduce presentations, circulars and other marketing material to promote achievements of the business.
- \tProvide guidance and coach team members in data analytics.
- \tPresent to stakeholders of all levels the analysis conducted.
- \tCreate and update project progress schedules.
- \tCreate procurement and contract proposals for data analysis improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- \tBachelor’s degree in engineering, procurement, business administration from a Western Country would be preferred
- \tMaster’s degree in related field would be considered as an asset.
- \tMinimum of 10 years post graduate work experience is required.
- \tAdvanced experience in MS Excel is required.
- \tAdvanced experience in MS PowerPoint is required.
- \tProcurement and business strategy background.
- \tProcurement, supply chain, business administration or engineering educational background.
- \tAnalytical data and proficiency in working with MS Excel, MS Access, and overall understanding of database management.
- \tProcess flow diagrams using Visio or similar.
- \tAdvanced MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS, Project, MS Word skills.
- \tWell-developed written communication skills in the preparation of presentations, technical reports, correspondence, and proposals are mandatory.
- \tExcellent oral and written professional English language skills.
- \tKnowledge of maintenance contracts or procurement and supply chain management is considered an asset.
