A Lifting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all lifting operations within a construction or industrial environment. They ensure that all lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prepare and Review Lifting Plans**: Develop detailed lifting plans for all lifting operations, taking into account factors such as load weight, crane capacity, rigging equipment, and environmental conditions. Review and approve lifting plans submitted by others.
- **Conduct Risk Assessments**: Identify and assess potential hazards associated with lifting operations, and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- **Supervise Lifting Operations**: Oversee all aspects of lifting operations, including crane selection, rigging, signaling, and load movement.
- **Ensure Safety Compliance**: Ensure that all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- **Train and Mentor Staff**: Provide training and mentorship to lifting personnel, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- **Investigate Accidents and Incidents**: Investigate any lifting accidents or incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- **Maintain Records**: Maintain accurate records of all lifting activities, including lifting plans, inspections, and incident reports.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor or similar role in a construction or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in lifting operations or related field (e.g., CCO, NCCCO) preferred.

**Additional Skills**:

- Proficiency in using lifting equipment software and planning tools.
- Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience in working with diverse teams and cultures.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Number of lifting operations completed without incidents.
- Adherence to lifting plan schedules.
- Compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Employee training and development.
- Timely completion of incident investigations and corrective actions.

By effectively fulfilling these responsibilities, a Lifting Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of lifting operations within an organization.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
