RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Light System Technician Responsibilities**:

- set up lighting equipment.
- assemble all the lighting and filter equipment needed.
- ensure all lighting equipment is in working order and carry out tests.
- organise any necessary scaffolding and cranes.
- position and plot lighting.
- pre-rig lighting, ensuring all cables and wires are safely concealed.
- load automated colour change systems.
- check the focusing of lighting at rehearsals.
- operate and maintain equipment during the shoot
- change lighting between shots, as necessary
- programme and operate lighting consoles
- de-rig all equipment at the end of the broadcast or production and ensure it's safely transported away from the location and/or store.

**Audio Visual Technician Responsibilities**:

- Transporting, setting up, and installing media equipment and audiovisual support tools, including speakers, monitors, cameras, and equipment racks.
- Setting up and performing electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction according to layout diagrams and schedules.
- Running tests on videos, audio, and signals and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
- Disassembling equipment, wiring, and support tools in a safe manner.
- Performing inventory management on equipment, wiring, and accessories.
- Carrying out any cleaning, maintenance, or repairs on audiovisual equipment.

**Sound System Technician Responsibilities**:

- production - the recording of all sound on set or on location
- post-production - the balancing, mixing, editing and enhancing of pre-recorded audio.
- Set up and test sound equipment before events and broadcasts.
- Record, edit and mix audio tracks (instruments, vocals etc.)
- Enhance sound quality and add sound effects to recordings.
- Work with video editors to synchronize video with audio tracks.
- Play backing tracks and special effects during live events.
- Collaborate with lighting, camera and other people.
- Create and maintain sound libraries.
- Resolve technical issues when they arise.
