**Department**
OFFSHORE PROJECTS

**Primary purpose of job**
Focal point, responsible, accountable for the day-to-day Commissioning execution of department assigned offshore

Greenfield and Brownfield projects to ensure that commissioning engineering, preparation, pre-commissioning, and

commissioning are executed in accordance with approved Scope of Work, approved drawings, engineering design and

safety, environment and QatarEnergy standards & specifications.

Act as an interface between Head, Commissioning, Operations Readiness (OV), Contractor and Sr. Commissioning

Coordinators. Provide guidance to Sr. Commissioning Coordinators and Contractor to ensure that all commissioning

activities are executed in accordance with approved method statements complying with project schedule, quality and HSE

requirements.

Act as QatarEnergy commissioning representative in FEED office, fabrication yards, offshore installation, and hook-up

barges, Halul, Brownfield modifications workboats etc. to monitor, control and report project progress.

3. Minimum of twelve (15) years’ experience in design, commissioning, and start-up of oil & gas processing plants and

preferably offshore with EPIC contracting companies of which a minimum eight (8) years Commissioning Coordinator/Team

Leader in Topsides, Process Platforms etc.

4. Excellent interpersonal, communication, Leadership, and managerial skills.

5. Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental awareness.

6. Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and

drawings.

7. Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.

8. Ability to supervise multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.

9. Relevant technical expertise. Multi-discipline engineering exposure with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

10. Good IT and analytical skills, with ability to work well under pressure.

**Education**
B.Sc. in an Engineering Discipline or a Diploma with extensive hands-on experience in commissioning of oil and gas

projects.
