**Qualifications**:

- Civil/Architectural Engineer with a Bachelor's degree (preferably a Master's degree) in Civil Engineering/Architecture, specializing in transport planning/design.
- At least ten years of experience in strategic planning, policies of countries, and economic feasibility studies related to railways. Preference for those with experience in the GCC countries.
- Preparing strategic plans related to railway requirements that align with the country's urban and economic growth.
- Managing railway projects and coordinating with the railway company (Rail) to ensure their implementation at national and regional GCC levels within the agreed-upon time and budget.
- Effective communication with key stakeholders involved in the project, including external and public authorities, and preparing technical reports and representing the ministry at official meetings with strategic partners regarding transport activities and policies aligned with the national integrated transport policy.
- Reviewing preliminary designs and specifications for national and regional GCC railway projects, assisting in the review and preparation of technical aspects for tenders/bids submitted by consultants and contractors.
- Reviewing the performance of operating companies according to agreed performance standards and auditing financial support invoices in line with performance results.
- Reviewing and evaluating safety certificates and operational safety for infrastructure.
- The ability to present strategic transport plans, such as smart growth plans, public transport development (TODs), and planning for the establishment of smart cities, and conducting related feasibility studies in alignment with the country’s development plans.
- Providing support for projects related to smart growth and public transport development (TODs) by offering technical and analytical studies that include the formulation and preparation of policies, guidelines, and legal systems.
- **Duration**: 3 Years (36 Months)

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
