**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities:Estimator Responsibilities**:

- Review project specifications, designs, and scope to prepare accurate material and labor cost estimates for aluminum and glass projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information necessary for accurate estimates.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive database of costs for aluminum and glass materials.
- Adjust estimates based on client feedback, project changes, and unforeseen circumstances.
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals and bids.

**Draftsman Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Develop shop drawings for aluminum and glass fabrication and installation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and building codes.
- Work closely with engineers and architects to clarify design details and modifications.
- Revise drawings as necessary based on project feedback and design changes.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an estimator and draftsman in the aluminum and glass industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and estimating tools.
- Strong knowledge of aluminum and glass materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with glass design software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards relevant to aluminum and glass fabrication.
