Asst. Front Office Manager

Assisting the Operations Manager by ensuring a smooth running of the front office operations.
- Trains his subordinates on the job, always motivates them, and sets a good example for them to follow.
- Gives top priority to the hotel-privileged guests (regular, top producer, loyalty programs, etc..).
- Updates same-day reservation data according to the situation and suggest suitable solutions if needed.
- Prepares and issues all documentation required by the authorities for FO Approval
- Ensures that all required concierge information is documented, updated and available upon guest request.
- Makes sure of the proper use of office supplies.
- Ensures that the front desk is manned all times.
- Implements the hotel credit policy.
- Organizes shift briefings.
- Checks the staff personal grooming and hygiene.
- Ensures that staff is respecting the hotel standards in regards of guest courtesy.
- Plans room assignment according to reservations and requests.
- Regularly checks the front office night report.
- Personally checks rooms assigned to VIPs arrival.
- Notifies management of VIPs arrival.
- Ensure that the Front Office staffs are aware of all in-house functions.
- Issues and follows up VIP treatment orders.
- Attends all meetings required.
- Ensures the proper handling of guest complaints.
- Preparing employee evaluation interviews.
- Practices on-the-job training for his employees for better understanding of their job.
- Ensures that training courses are allowed up.
- Evaluates training needs and provides all required training for employees.
- Ensures the strict implementation of all safety rules and Regulations.
- Attends all statutory trainings required.
- Makes sure that his staff attends all required fire and safety training.
- Accepts any other assignment given by the management.
