We are looking for **Substation Control and Monitoring System Inspectors**for one of our clients with the following details:
**Location: Onshore, Doha, Qatar**

**Start Date: ASAP**

Qualification and Experience Required:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SCMS or substation control systems.
- In-depth knowledge of SCMS components and substation automation protocols.
- Familiarity with industry safety and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving system performance issues.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Kahramaa substation experience is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform inspections, testing, and quality assurance checks on SCMS installations within transmission substations.
- Review and verify technical drawings and specifications to ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Validate system functionality and compliance with industry and client standards.
- Document inspection results and report any discrepancies or improvement areas.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve SCMS-related issues.
- Support commissioning activities and assist in system handover to operations.
- Conduct functional testing of the Substation Control System (SCS).
- Perform cyber security validation including firewall setup and configuration checks.
- Supervise testing and commissioning of communication systems using IEC 61850 and IEC 104 protocols.
