Key Accountabilities:
**Role Purpose**: To monitor, survey, and document heritage sites and structures, ensuring their preservation and compliance with conservation standards. Provide expert observations and detailed surveys to support the conservation, restoration, and management of heritage assets.

**Duties and Reponsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed onsite surveys and inspections of heritage buildings, monuments, and archaeological sites.
- Record observations related to the condition, deterioration, and changes in heritage assets using standard conservation assessment methods.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports, including photographic documentation, sketches, and survey data.
- Collaborate with conservation architects, historians, archaeologists, and other specialists to develop preservation strategies.
- Monitor ongoing conservation works to ensure compliance with approved methodologies and heritage guidelines.
- Identify potential threats to heritage sites (e.g., environmental, structural, humaninduced) and recommend mitigation measures.
- Assist in the preparation of heritage impact assessments and conservation management plans.
- Maintain upto-date records and databases of surveyed sites and conservation activities.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to raise awareness about heritage protection.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Proficiency in heritage site documentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation principles.
- Ability to use mapping and surveying software.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in diverse environments.
- Effective communication for collaboration with experts and authorities.
- Excellent report writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders.
- High School.
- Proven experience in heritage surveying, conservation, or related roles.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in this field.
