Ar and Billing Assistant

Main responsibilities of the **AR and Billing Assistant**:
- Ensure Revenue is correctly stated in the financial statements.
- Reconciliation of billed revenue back to the sales order and contract.
- To run the accounts receivable and billing function.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of revenue to customers.
- Ensure Company accounts receivable cycle is followed from invoice to payment and all the way through to write off if required.
- Calculation of bad debt provision.
- Accurate and timely reporting of Total Contract Value for the month, YTD including the unwind.
- Performance bond management.
- Deposit booking.
- Providing AR inputs into the cash flow forecasting process.
- Revenue reconciliation from CRM to GL.
- Accurate reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger and revenue accruals including Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure accounts receivable balances do not age over 120 days outstanding.
- Timely and accurate invoicing/billing and subsequent collection of due invoices.
- Establish a good working relationship with our customer’s finance teams.
- Ensure that a strong system of internal control within AR is maintained.
- Establishes and maintains an effective filing system for all confidential documents, reports, business plans.
- Providing staff within Finance and Sales with various requirements upon their request.
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:
- Working towards a CMA or similar qualification.
- 5+ years experience in handling AR of a fast-moving company.
- Strong computer literacy including MS Office and Excel.
- Excellent oral and written English with strong typing/shorthand abilities.
- Great organizer and interpersonal skills.
