Financial Budgeting and Business Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced **Financial Budgeting and Business Planning Manager (Qatarization) **for a prestigious bank in Doha, Qatar. This role is a permanent opportunity focused on creating long-term financial strategies, monitoring budgets, and ensuring effective business performance across the Group.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Shareholder & Financial**:
- Assist in developing financial strategies to maximize shareholder value.
- Monitor and manage annual budgets for all divisions in collaboration with departmental heads.
- Provide regular management reports on financial performance, highlighting key variances.
- Implement KPIs and promote cost-efficiency across the organization.
**Customer Relations**:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments to achieve financial goals.
- Coordinate with the IT department to address budget reporting needs promptly.
- Provide accurate information to auditors and compliance teams as required.
**Internal Processes**:
- Oversee the analysis and implementation of the latest reporting tools.
- Enhance budgeting techniques and maintain reporting standards for both domestic and international operations.
- Lead updates to the budgetary system as necessary.
**Learning & Knowledge**:
- Develop and train team members in financial strategy best practices.
- Conduct performance assessments and resolve personnel conflicts effectively.
**Compliance & Ethics**:
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high professional standards to uphold the organization’s reputation.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field; professional certifications (CPA, CA, CMA, CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a major banking environment.
- Proficient in financial reporting processes, including IFRS and IAS.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
