We are looking for a skilled **Chef de Partie - Pastry** to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality pastries and desserts, ensuring consistency, and supporting the Pastry Sous Chef in daily operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and finish pastries, cakes, and desserts to the highest standard
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Assist in developing new pastry menu items and seasonal specials
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety in the pastry section
- Monitor ingredient stock and report needs to the Pastry Sous Chef
- Train and guide Commis chefs in pastry preparation techniques
- Collaborate with the coffee team for pairing and presentation ideas
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or certification in Pastry or Culinary Arts (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical pastry skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and passion for flavor and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
