Job Vacancy**:Tekla Detailer (steel structure)**

Job Purpose:

- Complete study of contract documents.
- Determine the Structural steel scope of work to follow the project execution plan.
- Ensure that all the required material is either available in our stock or it will be procured including the miscellaneous and accessories.
- Raising concession request and RFI to client, if any revision / changes in the drawing to be informed to material/detailing group leader.
- Identify and define the deliverable requirements of any specific construction design, including instructional notes, through discussion with group leader.
- Coordinate with detailing subcontractors’ inputs/outputs to assure the compliance with the project/company requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Checks all the received documents/drawings.
- Raise any RFIs regarding the material/detailing issues.
- Checks/Prepares 3D profile models using Tekla structure, review nesting to prepare MTO for order.
- Prepares MTO for profiles & connection plates/ accessories.
- Prepares shop drawings including the connection design details using Tekla model for client approval according to the proposed schedule.
- Applies the client approval comments to the shop drawings.
- Checks/prepares the connection 3D models.
- Checks/prepares fabrication drawings & ensures that all documents are following the quality control plan.
- Checks/prepares erection mark drawings.
- Checks/prepares as-built drawings after erection.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 6-8 years of continuous experience in steel structure detailing using Tekla software.
- Good skills and knowledge in structural engineering with the ability to understand working practices.
- Must be analytically minded and accurate with figures and think logically and systematically.
- Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Able to work flexibly within a team and maintaining close working relationships with internal and external colleagues as well as clients.
- Having proactive approach to identify problems, with the ability to think creatively in order to provide effective solutions.
- Proficient and updated with a vast array of steel detailing engineering programs, concepts and technologies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and able to provide professional responses.
