**The Demi Chef De Partie** is responsible for cooking and serving the food according to the restaurant’s quality and service standards. The role requires training of kitchen line staff as directed by the Chef, as well as receiving and arranging food storage and maintaining safety and cleanliness of all kitchen and food storage areas.

**Operational Activities**:

- Cooks and serves food according to the restaurant’s quality and service standards set by the Chefs. Receives, orders, and arranges storage of food. Maintains safety and cleanliness of all kitchen and food storage areas.
- Prepares and cooks high-quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes.
- Supervises Commis on the Kitchen Team. Helps to create good communication between floor and kitchen staff and within the kitchen.
- Receives and accounts for supplies and deliveries. Assists with regular stock takes.
- Assists with training staff, including any apprentices and trainees.
- Follows correct hygienic food handling practices. Follows the kitchen’s regular cleaning and waste disposal practices. Uses safe work practices and support others in using them. Carries out any other duties as advised from time to time.
- Arranges training of kitchen staff as directed by the Chef in Charge. Up-to-date knowledge of current food trends.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude. Works creatively.
- Practices HACCP standards and procedures or similar food safety system.
- Delivers a memorable guest experience with a positive and passionate attitude.
- Has flexible availability, including morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Carries out any other duties as advised from time to time.
- Educates staff members on kitchen health and safety best practices.
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
- Basic computing skills, including understanding of relevant IT products and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP)
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, cost control, and health and safety

Pay: QAR3,000.00 per month
