**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervises the equipment control department activities and reporting.
- Manages daily operations for the equipment procurement, inventory management and maintenance function.
- Prepares a weekly container repositioning forecast.
- Makes sure that the equipment abides by all safety standards as well as high quality.
- Implementation of corporate best practices for maintenance processes; develops and maintains reporting on these measures to ensure continuous improvement and provide needed information to upper management.
- Tracks the records, licenses, inspections, warranties, and service agreements for the organization’s equipment and tools.
- Oversees the general management of equipment maintenance, repair, and storage.
- Assists the Administration with any special project.
- Adhere to policies and procedures when handling Line equipment control functions;
- Follow up on lease dates for leased Line containers and spaces ensuring effective utilization of the same;
- Maintain a record of Line data with regards to equipment control and container capacity management activities;
- Manage the leasing & depot agreements for new business activities or renewal of existing contracts in coordination with the procurement department.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO and MMS
- Act as a coach to subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves and absenteeism;
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**Skills required**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- Experienced in a similar position in a well-reputed logistics or shipping organization is added advantage.
- experience in equipment control in that area, emphasis on container shipping and managing equipment for container fleet
- Business fluent English (verbal and writing)
