Qatar Airways is currently recruiting for Welfare Coordinator - Shafallah in a Temporary Position.

The role will be responsible to assist the Welfare Officer - Shafallah to coordinate all matters relating to handling of Shafallah special needs individuals. Ensure that all queries / concerns are dealt in a speedy and effective manner.

Role Accountabilties
- Assist the Welfare Officer - Shafallah to initiate / send for further review of Shafallah related policies / procedures and in handling day-to-day tasks related to Shafallah special needs individuals.
- Assist Welfare Officer - Shafallah to improve the working conditions and help special needs individuals to adjust and adapt themselves to the working environments.
- Escalate matters to Welfare Officer - Shafallah as required.
- Monitor the system changes / updates in staff records of special needs individuals (GEMS, Staff Travel, HRES) as required.
- Translate official documents from English to Arabic and vice-versa.
- Handle all work related materials as required by Shafallah special needs individuals.
- Liaise with the parents of Shafallah special needs individuals as required.
- Responsible for handover of special needs individuals to their respective parents/guardians after duty hours and maintain log for the same.
- Ensure cleanliness of work environment for Shafallah special needs individuals.
- Maintain report of daily tasks accomplished by the team and handover to Welfare Officer - Shafallah.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Clinical Social Work/Special Education Needs
- Minimum 4 years job related experience
- Computer literate
- Ability to be empathetic and compasionate
