Manager Laundry Operations

**About the role**

In this interesting role, you will be responsible to Drives QACC’s full Laundry service provision, with a focus on business volume and revenue growth, as well as operational excellence, through both internal customer base and new external market opportunities, contributing in business development, negotiation and pricing, to ensure delivery of services that leverage the growing capacity of Laundry operation. You will take overall responsibility in leading the continuous improvement of QACC Laundry operation, providing leadership in ensuring that operational efficiencies and quality targets are materialized and delivered within the operation, including KPI development and delivery, process improvement, developing operational procedures and manuals, and commitment to achieve budget targets while ensuring full compliance to required operational standards.

To achieve success in this role you will need to:

- Design, lead and implement continuous service / process improvement strategy with a focus on growing the Laundry business whilst delivering and embedding service excellence, with ownership of all related strategic and operational Laundry activities.
- Plan, analyse and implement long-term strategies to address customer concerns and improve service quality.
- In coordination with Business Development and Customer Service teams, play a key role in the development and delivery of contract pricing and service agreements, ensuring sustainability in terms of profitability and service delivery.
- Lead operational improvement concepts development and corresponding workforce planning in alignment with overall business growth strategy, operational effectiveness, manufacturing improvements and P&L objectives.
- Influence and lead delivery of key investment priorities (i.e. equipment, systems, capacity planning) in order to deliver based on increased volumes and expanded service capabilities.
- Responsible for developing departmental KPIs and SLAs tailored to each customer’s requirements.

- Extensive knowledge and experience with industrial laundry operation with high volume.
- Working knowledge of leading technology and equipment for laundry operation.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
- Analytical and problem solving.
- Interpersonal and relation building.
- Excellent computer knowledge.
- Fluent in English, both written and oral.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team member.
