Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries, serving the entire energy value chain and the industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team works to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.

**As a Lead Services Specialist - General Operations, you will be responsible for**:

- Coordinating resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy
- Leading and assisting in daily operations ;Developing, coordinating, leading, and executing daily production plans and coordinating consistent and effective shift-to-shift transition.
- Developing and implement process controls.
- Supporting operations leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources.
- Working together with high level people from the business and SPB and EB level.
- Specifying needs, communicating about project approach and presenting outcomes of research done.
- Handling standardized project processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Processes and procedures are frequently updated by other functions and have to be implemented in the department.
- Handles diverse clients in a region. Works on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from those conditions.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Operations Support.
- Knowledge in SAP and MS office.
- A valid Qatar Driving License.
- Familiarity with Qatar customs rules and regulations.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Fluency in Arabic language.
- Experience and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
