Assistant Manager

**Job scope**:
Responsible for supporting the design and implementation of the compensation and benefits structure. This role includes research, benchmarking, recommendations for compensation and benefits, bonuses, and rewards programmes as well as monitoring and controlling implementation.
**Responsibilities**:
**Strategy and planning**
- Support manpower planning exercises as needed to ensure optimised staffing levels in each department.
- Prepare the workforce budget.
**Financial**
- Conduct regular assessments and benchmarking of compensation and benefits structure and levels.
**Compensation and Benefits**
- Develop, implement, and manage compensation and benefits program, including base salary, bonuses, benefits, incentives, and other forms of compensation.
- Propose bonus methodologies and other incentive-based reward schemes as part of the overall compensation and benefits strategy.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure the company's compensation packages remain competitive within the industry and region, and best practices are applied.
**People and change management**
- Work effectively with colleagues in HR and across the organisation.
- Develop and deliver communication materials, presentations, and training sessions to educate employees on compensation and benefits programs, policies, and changes.
- Participating in cross-functional teams and projects related to compensation and benefits, working collaboratively with HR, finance, legal, and other departments.
**Business**
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business and operations.
**Policies, procedures and ways of working**
- Review and manage periodic updates of HR processes, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement standardised and efficient processes that optimise service delivery and enhance employee experience.
**Qualifications**:
**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably experienced in Compensation and Benefits design and implementation.
- Demonstrated robust career progression and a proven track record of leading successful strategic initiatives.
**Education and qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
