**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead **value engineering studies** to optimize designs, materials, and construction methods while maintaining project quality, safety, and functionality.
- Review and analyze **design proposals, specifications, and cost estimates** to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
- Collaborate with **architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders** to evaluate alternative design solutions.
- Prepare and present **value engineering reports, recommendations, and cost-benefit analyses** to management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with **international engineering standards, building codes, and local authority regulations**.
- Conduct **technical feasibility assessments** of proposed design modifications.
- Support project teams in integrating approved value engineering solutions into design and construction phases.
- Use engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, etc.) to model and assess alternative design approaches.
- Monitor industry trends, materials innovation, and best practices to continuously enhance value engineering strategies.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)**; Master’s degree preferred.
- **UPDA** (Any grade)
- Minimum **10 years of relevant design engineering experience**, with at least 5 years in **value engineering** roles.
- Strong knowledge of **construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques**.
- Proficiency in **design and project management software** (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, MS Project, etc.).
- Proven ability to conduct **life cycle cost analysis, risk assessment, and technical reviews**.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate findings and recommendations.
- Experience working on **large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or mixed-use projects** is highly desirable.
