The Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, repair, and installation activities during the shutdown period of an oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery facility. The role requires strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting, cable termination, motor and control panel maintenance, and working safely under shutdown schedules.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out electrical maintenance, installation, and repair activities on motors, switchgear, MCC panels, and lighting systems.
- Perform cable glanding, termination, and continuity testing in accordance with project requirements.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and control circuits to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in pre-commissioning and shutdown-related electrical tasks as directed by the supervisor or engineer.
- Follow all HSE guidelines and participate in toolbox talks and permit-to-work systems.
- Ensure safe isolation, tagging, and verification procedures are implemented before starting any work.
- Support in testing electrical systems and documenting inspection results.
- Report defects, unsafe conditions, and maintenance issues promptly to the immediate supervisor.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery projects.
- Prior shutdown experience in similar industrial environments is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, isolation procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
- Good communication skills in English.
