Our company is looking to fill the role of a LV / Electrical Draughtsman. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

Responsibilities for draughtsman:

- Prepare Technical Drawings
- Executing & preparing detailed General Arrangement Drawings pertinent to Water & Waste - Water Treatment Plants using Autocad Software under guidance from Design Engineers.
- Executing & preparing detailed Fabrication Design Drawings pertinent to Low Current and Electrical technical project using Autocad Software under guidance from Design Engineers.
- Ensuring effective, professional and appropriate communication at all times with design engineers.
- Deliver accurate electrical designs within agreed timescale.
- Ensure all work complies with our company standards.
- Ensure all work complies with the required market standards.
- Provide technical information required for manuals and other documentation.
- Maintain and promote the implementation of professional standards.
- Work with other designers and departments to ensure specifications are clear and complete.

Qualifications for draughtsman interpretation of design requirements/specifications, multi-discipline interface knowledge (specifically to electronics, electrical and C&I)
- Security and medical clearances
- Strong customer focus, with good interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of a completed Matric/Grade 12 Certificate.
- Must be Computer literate with an ability to learn new programs with relative ease.
