Civil Draughtsman - Roads and Infrastructure
**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draughtsman to join our team. As a Civil Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate and precise drawings, plans, and designs for road and infrastructure projects. Your technical expertise and proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed drawings, plans, and designs for roads and infrastructure projects.
Utilize AutoCAD and other drafting software to produce accurate and precise technical drawings.
Prepare quantity take-offs and material estimates based on project requirements.
Assist in the preparation of project specifications and technical documentation.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and architects, to ensure design integrity and project success.
Conduct site visits as necessary to gather relevant data and information for drafting purposes.
Keep up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to roads and infrastructure design.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout the drafting process.
**Requirements**:
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman, specifically in roads and infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret engineering designs and specifications.
Solid understanding of construction methods and materials.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
