Reporting to the CFO, with two direct reports, you will contribute to the company by planning, developing and leading initiatives, implementing financial policies and procedures as well as overseeing all financial controls.

Collaborating with the wider company, you will provide advice to commercial and operations teams, so that decisions can be made on solid financial data, as well as providing recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement.

The ability to demonstrate financial reporting and compliance, audit management following accounting standards inclusive of tax, payroll, inventory and assets will be crucial.

This company are looking for an expert in financial planning and budgeting, financial risk management and financial analysis and the ability to report this information to management level.

Experience in the shipping and maritime industry is essential.

You will have a minimum of five years’ experience as a Finance Manager or a similar level of responsibility.

It is essential that you have a Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum.
