**1. Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Budget & Forecast Analysis**

**Planning Phase**:

- Prepare and forecast annual project budgets.
- Analyze cost data, identify trends, and validate budget proposals.
- Provide insights to management on potential risks and mitigation measures.
- Maintain forecasts of cost outcomes using historical data and projected changes.

**Execution Phase**:

- Monitor actual expenses against approved budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis to track budget performance accurately.

**Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders**:

- Educate project managers and engineers on project finances and variances.
- Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely payments.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure the accuracy of online purchase order reports and suggest process improvements.
- Arrange meetings with the Operations and Projects team, along with the Accounting team, for financial handover and project closeout.
- Gather details from Operations, rig managers, and other teams on reimbursable expenses and potential cost reallocations.
- Participate proactively in meetings to provide insights and recommendations for accurate project cost classification and improved cost control processes.

**Financial & Management Reporting**:

- Prepare accurate cost tracking spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct expense analysis and provide cost trend forecasts.
- Review reports of all purchase orders and ensure committed costs are accurately recorded as OPEx, CAPex, or reimbursable expenses.
- Maintain files of monthly operations billing, catering recharges, third-party recoverable costs, and major/capital expenses to ensure accurate records.
- Review long outstanding purchase orders and update their status.

**Reconciliation**:

- Perform calculations and reconcile financial reports related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variations in reports.

**2. Qualifications, Experience & Skills (Competencies)**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.

**Minimum Experience**:

- At least 3 years of experience in project cost control and associated tracking and reporting, preferably within the oil and gas industry.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
- Sound knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with international accounting standards and project finance management practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
