Nurse Administrative Assistant

Nurse Administrative Assistant duties and responsibilities include providing administrative services and support to the clinical team, and act as a point of contact for other care providers. Other job duties include keeping up established ethical and legal standards for job performance, attending administrative personnel meetings, and developing new employee training.
Nurse Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Familiar policies and protocols and ensure you have a practical awareness of what is required
- Meet regularly Nurse Administration team to discuss any new or ongoing issues within your department and any necessary actions
- Together with the Management team work with the Partners to contribute to Practice strategy, formulate objectives and research and develop ideas for future Practice development
- Delegate tasks as appropriate prior to any period of absence (i.e. annual leave) to ensure your role is sufficiently maintained during those times
- Deal with general enquiries made by patients, either personally or over the telephone, and ensure that all patients are treated with courtesy and consideration at all times
- Ensure that information about unresolved or urgent matters is passed to colleagues before leaving work
- Ensure correspondence, reports, results etc. and are filed appropriately and in the correct patient record
- Provide administrative support to the clinical teams
- Be responsible for allocated key tasks as listed and to be reviewed periodically.
- Maintain the filing system within each medical record
- Ensures strict adherence to all policies and protocols relating to data protection, confidentiality, and all other aspects of information governance.
Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing or healthcare related field will be a plus.
- Minimum 2 yrs administrative experience in healthcare sector.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Multilingual preferred.
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
