Group Head of Finance and Accounts

1. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team

2. Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies

3. Oversee the company's transaction processing systems

4. Implement operational best practices

5. Construct and monitor reliable control systems

6. Arrange for debt and equity financing

7. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

8. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

9. Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.

10. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department

11. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements

12. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

13. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

14. Managing the organization’s bank relationships and liquidity management

15. Analyzing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management

16. Daily cash management; Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts

17. Debt facilities management

18. Team management; direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy

19. Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

20. Preparing management and board reports

21. Liaising with senior management across the organization
- **Qualification, Training and Experience Required for this Position**:_

1. Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role

2. In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping

3. Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management

4. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models

5. Proficiency in accounting software

6. Solid analytical and decision-making skills

7. Leadership abilities

8. Bachelor/Master Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant field
