Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscapes within the lighting sector.
- Create detailed marketing plans, including budget allocation, campaign timelines, and performance metrics.
- Brand Management:
- Oversee and enhance the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
- Develop compelling brand messaging that resonates with target audiences (e.g., architects, designers, contractors, consumers, distributors).
- Manage brand guidelines and ensure adherence by internal teams and external partners.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Lead the development of high-quality marketing content, including product brochures, catalogs, website copy, blog posts, case studies, press releases, and presentations.
- Collaborate with product development and sales teams to accurately showcase lighting solutions and their benefits.
- Oversee visual content creation, including photography and videography of lighting products and installations.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage and optimize the company's website (SEO/SEM, user experience).
- Develop and execute digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads).
- Manage social media presence across relevant platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest) to engage with target audiences and build community.
- Analyze digital marketing performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports.
- Product Marketing:
- Work closely with product development teams to understand new product features and benefits.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including messaging, positioning, and promotional activities.
- Create compelling sales enablement tools for the sales team.
- Public Relations & Events:
- Cultivate relationships with industry media and influencers.
- Coordinate participation in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events.
- Manage press releases and media outreach to secure positive coverage.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Potentially manage and mentor junior marketing team members or external agencies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, R&D, and customer service teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts.
- Budget Management & Reporting:
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal ROI.
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience within the lighting industry (B2B and/or B2C) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
