**Position Summary**:
The Electrical Chiller Plant/ Substation Supervisor in a hospital setting is responsible for overseeing and managing the operation, maintenance, and performance of the electrical chiller plant and substation systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and reliable supply of electrical power to support various hospital functions, including patient care, medical equipment, and facility operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Chiller Plant Management**:

- Supervise the operation and maintenance of the electrical chiller plant to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Monitor and control chiller systems, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate routine preventive maintenance activities for chiller plant components.

**Substation Operations**:

- Oversee the electrical substation to ensure a stable power supply to the hospital.
- Monitor electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, and associated equipment.
- Implement measures to prevent electrical failures and respond promptly to any disruptions.

**Troubleshooting and Repairs**:

- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues related to chiller plant and substation equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors for repairs and replacements when necessary.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, electrical codes, and hospital policies.
- Develop and implement safety procedures for the chiller plant and substation operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

**Energy Management**:

- Implement energy conservation measures to optimize the use of electrical resources.
- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements within the chiller plant and substation systems.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Generate reports on the performance and efficiency of the chiller plant and substation systems.
- Provide regular updates to the Facilities Management team and other relevant stakeholders.

**Team Management**:

- Lead a team of technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of chiller plants and electrical substations, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and codes related to electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and external vendors.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
