**Department**
FIRE PROTECTION & RESPONSE PLANNING

**Primary purpose of job**
Develop & deliver a comprehensive Fire, Rescue and Emergency Response training and development programme for both

fire division and non-fire division personnel to ensure that current and new members of staff are trained and deemed

competent in accordance with the relevant codes, standards and practices

When required, as leader of a team conduct continuous training and competency audits within defined responsible areas.

Consult with partner industries, QP Corporate Departments to support the development of training related policies &
procedures to meet the requirements with the relevant laws and regulations, within their jurisdiction

**Experience & Skills**
Minimum ten years as a Fire-Fighter (5 in supervisory position) in a commercial or industrial Fire-Fighter environment, civil

defense force, military fire service or three years as Sub Officer in QP. Qualified Fire service instructor

Possess a valid driving License, preferably Heavy Vehicle.

Technical skills — must be able to use broad range of modern equipment for fire fighting and rescue.

**Education**
HND or equivalent. Graduate of Institution of Fire Engineers or equivalent diploma in fire fighting/watch management.
