**The role?**
A permanent opportunity has arisen within our Cranes and Lifting department for an
**Electrical & Instrument Crane Technician** to work offshore on a rotational basis. This offers a favourable rotation of 28 weeks working and 28 weeks at home. You will be tasked with carrying out maintenance and ensuring Crane integrity is maintained to current legislative, corporate and manufacturers recommendations.

**You have?**
- A good understanding and hands-on experience with various kinds of C&I equipment as well as hands-on experience with industrial automation and standalone PLC based packages such as Siemens, Allen Bradley PLC family, Simatic and Medicon.
- Must be conversant with control system design documentation loop drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, equipment datasheets, PLC logic diagrams, and bills of materials.
- Additionally strong knowledge of oil and gas offshore operations and maintenance regimes, standalone PLC-based systems and packed.
- Good mechanical fundamentals, rigging and lifting
- Having experience installing, testing, and adjusting the electric and mechanical parts of cranes and lifting equipment:

- Identify, repair and/or replace malfunctioning parts or faulty wiring
- Install electrical switchboard (panel)
- Cable termination work
- Test circuit continuity
- Back-up PLC software

**Qualifications, experience and skills**
- Minimum 7 years of experience working on electrical/instrument/control systems in the oil and gas industry
- Computer literate especially in Microsoft Excel
- Familiar with CMMS, preferably the one who familiar with the SAP material module
- Fluent in written and spoken English
