**COMMERCIAL ADMINISTRATOR (PROJECT-BASED)** A **Contract Administrator**, or Contract Specialist, manages and reviews business contracts for financial agreements like company purchases, rental agreements, new hire contracts, and business proposals. Their duties include negotiating contract terms and conditions with each party, analyzing potential risks involved with certain contractual agreements, and helping employees and leaders better understand the information outlined in the contracts. **Key Accountabilities**: - Generates and maintains documentation for analyzing, negotiating, and drafting change/variation orders with Clients and subcontractors. - Collaborates with all Team Members as deemed necessary on project contract and subcontract matters - Conducts contract administration to ensure proper contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and contract specifications. Accordingly, drafts letters and keeps the records. - When required, advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyses data; and maintains historical information. - Progress Claim and Contractual matters, assist the Project team in original routine progress reports related to the contracts signed and assigned. - Review and comment on progress reports. Updates the Areas of Concern for the progress reports together with the status of Variations and/or claims notified and received. - Monitors and administers the business provisions of the Contracts signed and assigned subcontracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Advise the Contracts Manager regarding scope, financial, and risk issues and concerns of applicable contracts and to prepare its report accordingly. - Identifies contractual problems and possible claims by Client and subcontractors and takes appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory resolution. Identifies contractual problems and possible claims by Client and subcontractors and takes appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory resolution. - Provides support service when required in "interpretation of contract" during the course of the contract and ensures its close-out is in accordance with established procedures. - Follows up on problems demanding management attention to ensure a timely response to a client - Prepares tender inquiry documents based on work scope and other requirements according to policy guidelines. - Assists in the writing and preparation of the scope of works, BOQ's and Subcontracts documentation, negotiating the subcontracts, administering the contracts through to final payments and retentions. - Participates as a member of the negotiating team for technical and commercial evaluation of Subcontracts. - Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, - Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing, etc.) - Ensure Contract close-out, extension, or renewal. - Monitors compliance to contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied **Required Skills**: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Law 5 years experience in Ashgal Road / Infra Project Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
